I think tht Moonlight is so much better than Twilight cuz Moonlight has more description and more details about being a vampire and Twilight has only about biting someone’s neck. For Moonlight there’s like flamethrowers, stakes etc.
Wouldn’t it be great see Alex in one of the Twilight Saga movies!! I think he would be great. Even if he had to play Aro… I loved Rob in the movie, saw it 4 times. Thanks for this site, it’s wonderful.
Hey Fans,
Let’s get some comments over on this thread… No Twilight is not Moonlight, and Robert is not Alex, but own-up, I know many of the fans of the Twilight series were not our youth but women old enough to be the mothers of Kristen Stewart (Bella) & Robert (Edward) of the movie version… I am in constant contact with many of Moonlight fans who fought hard to get ML back on the air & who, since the shows birth, became fans of Alex O’Loughlin… Many of these ladies have, besides reading the Twilight series of 4 novels, have seen the movie more than once… I think the young actors did a superb job of all characters & it was really a hard act to follow in the footsteps of the written characters as well as present their interpretation in the wake of our lost Moonlight… So Bravo to all of Twilight’s cast, director, producers, screen writers, crew, et al…
And a bigger than big BRAVO to Rob Pattinson, who attended an Improv club in mid-December, 2008, for booing that heartless idiot for the material he set to use so tastelessly… The so-called comedian on stage at the Improv club was doing a rude interpretation of Heath Ledger dying… I think the management should have forbid this comic from putting that on stage…The lack of comedy comic was writhering on the stage floor, apparently, like he was in the throes of death from poisoning (it was determined that Heath became the victim of a mix of prescription drugs…doctors do not carefully check to see if a patient is taking drugs before prescribing any that can cause death if taken with another as I see it)… I THANK YOU,ROB PATTINSON, AND SO WOULD ALL OF HEATH’S FAMILY, FOR BOOING AND HISSING AT THIS COMIC AND I DO HOPE HE WAS NEVER ALLOWED TO PERFORM THAT ACT AGAIN…
No, I did not “live the movie”; I LOVED the movie…sorry for the typo and not wanting anyone to think I am a vampire or the like…
And pleas excuse any other typos withing the post above as I was typing quickly as I was composing in my head and did not want to lose the train of thought I wanted to convey…
Tish/Pat Schau…
Good Idea, Tiffany, since we all apparently love Twilight and its characters and those that enacted those parts…
I think all of the young actors did wonderful in their character portrayls in the Twilight movie… I feel that all have a great shot at furthering their careers to high accolades… I wish them all great success…
Until I saw Twilight twice (& can’t wait for the DVD to come out; hope that this will be a individual sequel of DVDs and not having to await the whole series on film) I never realized how expressive Rob Pattinson facial expressions and his mannerisms can be…And yes, he does have a come hither voice… All of this will take him far in the entertainment field…He is a darker version, at times, of our Alex’s Mick…a younger heartthrob to our Alex’s making women of all ages hearts flutter… Both Alex & Rob are sensuous in their own individual ways…
Loved Kristen, she played Bella perfectly as far as I am concerned… When I was watching her performance on the big screen, I realized how much she reacted to everything as my oldest dsughter would have done so when she was a teen… Bella’s character is not meant to be a immature teen; she has had to almoste reverse roles between her mother and herself many times since her parents broke up… My oldest daughter did not have to do that with me, fortunately, but she was always there to talk with and more mature for her years; she also played a surrogate mothering role to her younger siblings when her father & I divorced… So, unless you read all of the 4 Twilight series of books, you will never totally understand Bella, which I pictured as my familiar daughter… Yesm Bella can be a clutz, but then not every teen knows every dance, nor every star, nor joins in all of the party life of a teen; some are too mature for it and just don’t fit in , as Bella is, and some are just being busy being responsible for other parts of their life, like Bella is… However, in the book, she was more of a domestic personality by keeping her Dad’s house in order and making him good homecooked meals…In the movie Kristen was a vegitarian and one gets the impression she does not cook; well that would be just fine for a relationship with a vampire…
I lived the movie…Do hope it is a wise choice to change directors, especially to a male director when I feel a woman knows teens better especially ones in young live… Am anxiousky waiting for the New Moon to rise on the big screen…Hope they push the release up to the end of 2009 as they moved forward for Twilight… Vamperism is hot now, so keep the irons hot and the fans passionate fires burning Summit…
