During the press tour several lady reporters were twittering about meeting Alex for lunch. Remember the occasion in which he sang the theme song for Monkey Magic? One of these reporters has a short interview piece up about him at film.com. Among other things he talks about his fans, how he is a book worm, and how he and CBS may be counting on his legion of fans to make Three Rivers a success.
“It was the first time I’ve been overwhelmed from fans. It was like strange and a little surreal,” Alex said during the post-lunch set visit.
In the beginning, he admits, it was almost too much to handle.
“At first it’s kind of spooky opening those letters, hundreds and hundreds of letters, from people who know so much about you, yet have had no real interaction with you,” Alex says. “But I’m much more comfortable with it now.”
Without the support of his fans, he says, he wouldn’t be having the opportunities he currently enjoys. His series came a direct result of CBS realizing Alex came with a legion of supporters that could help boost the ratings of a new series.

Embora a série Moon light tenha sido filmada em 2007, aqui no Brasil a Waner channel reprisou entre 2008/2009 e o sbt agora em 2010, porém sem novos episodios o que é lamentavel.
Enfim aprendi a gostar do seu trabalho p/ o ciúme do meu namorado espero sinceramente que tenha ótimas propostas de trabalho daqui p/ frente.

Wow, another great interview with Alex. Loved this one. He just melts your heart whenever he speaks….or just sits there! Nice to know how much he appreciates the fan following. And thrilled to pieces that he’ll be on Craig Ferguson (my other tv fave), next Mon nite.
