Now that the holidays are over, it is time to get back to the regular scheduled programming. So not only is Hawaii Five 0 new this week, so is our first Whimsical Wednesday fanart post of the year. Even though the collaborators have been busy with their family, friends and regular responsibilities, they still took time to do some new art. Once again thanks to them for that!
Here are the pieces for the week.
First from Bryna, she came up with a take on the soon to be released xXx movie: The Return of Xander Cage. She changed the casting from Vin Diesel to Alex as Mick, added Alex as Steve, and included a replacement of the supporting characters that you might just recognize too. Interesting alternative universe it would be if all these characters coexisted in the same place and time. Pretty cool. You can see the original movie poster here to see what her adaptations are.
Next we have a a couple that are still in the spirit of the holidays as both Monika and Sonja provided us some New Year’s wishes. Alex always looks good surrounded by many different colors and flair.

Gaby dug in deep to start off the year showing Alex as Steve and how he may be feeling after the year he had in 2016. Since he went through so much, it is possible he just feels shattered and at a state of brokeness. When and/or will he break down and finally show some real affects from Wo Fat and beyond…if he does how will he pick up the pieces?
Although it is doubtful we will ever see this play out on a weekly procedural, it is reasonable to think this would be how Steve is really feeling on the inside.
Next, Silvia provided us with the wallpaper for her first Alex calendar of the year. The black and white look provides a vintage feel within a modern world. If you have not seen her calendars, you can see both the English and Spanish version in our gallery. If anyone wants a copy just email us and we will get it to you but please make sure the credit is given to Silvia if used anywhere online.
Another one came from Gaby, and this time she provided a calendar for January. With the start of the new year, she took one of Alex’s winter looks and placed him at ski resort. Since he is a skiier/snowboarder, if he was not able to hit the slopes this holiday he might have wished he did. If you want a copy of this one, also email us and we will get it to you but please make sure the credit is given to Gaby if used anywhere online.
Sonja was feeling generous as always and provided a second one for the week. She took Alex in an old interview and put him in a house setting which is way more cozy than the studio he had to do it in originally.

That was a great way to start off the year. Once again we appreciate all the different styles and concepts. Variety makes the world go round and if we were all the same life would be beyond boring. We have gotten to know all of our collaborators over the last few months and one thing they are NOT… Boring.
Hope everyone is having a great start to 2017.
