Cro Customs and Alex have been hard at work again. Apparently they painted Alex’s bike for him and they posted a pic for us, as seen above! You can see closeups of the bike here.

Alex: “I just missed Kings of Leon because I had to work on my new show Three Rivers you should watch it. Antithetically to Gabriel, I have music running all the time in my life [Laughs]. I feel excited by it.”

During the press tour several lady reporters were twittering about meeting Alex for lunch. Remember the occasion in which he sang the theme song for Monkey Magic? One of these reporters has a short interview piece up about him at film.com. Among other things he talks about his fans, how he is a book worm, and how he and CBS may be counting on his legion of fans to make Three Rivers a success.

“It was the first time I’ve been overwhelmed from fans. It was like strange and a little surreal,” Alex said during the post-lunch set visit.

In the beginning, he admits, it was almost too much to handle.

“At first it’s kind of spooky opening those letters, hundreds and hundreds of letters, from people who know so much about you, yet have had no real interaction with you,” Alex says. “But I’m much more comfortable with it now.”

Without the support of his fans, he says, he wouldn’t be having the opportunities he currently enjoys. His series came a direct result of CBS realizing Alex came with a legion of supporters that could help boost the ratings of a new series.

Back in 2002 however, Alex O’Lachlan (as he was then known by) was one of Sydney’s Sexiest Barmen in a photo shoot for the now-defunct gay photography magazine “blue”. According to the blurb, he was in his final year at NIDA and his favourite pick-up line was “Um, excuse me, sorry to bother you but I was just wondering if you would like to have sex with me sometime.” Now this is not meant to insinuate in any way that he is gay because, sadly, I don’t think he is but isn’t it funny to see him before he practised that smouldering look he flashes for the cameras so often these days.
