  3. I loved the movie. It was so “Alex”. I was lucky enough to get the movie poster that was on display at the theater. I now have a 7 foot Alex hanging on my wall. I was going to hang it in the bedroom but thought it might intimidate my husband so he is haning in my sewing room. I spend a lot of time sewing. Can’t wait for the Hawaii 5 O premiere. Good luck and God bless you Alex.

  4. I absolutely LOVE Alex O’Loughlin. I have been hooked since I watched Moonlight. I was bummed out when CBS cancelled the series, but was elated to find out it came out on DVD which I have. Then when Three Rivers came out, I was hooked again. That was an awesome show. I recorded all these episodes on VCR, but recently, signed up on Amazon to order Three Rivers as soon as it is released. I thought he was fantastic in “The Back-up Plan” which I pre-ordered and am looking forward to it. I hope and pray that CBS won’t do him dirty again and Hawaii Five-O will be a hit. He is one of the finest actors and is such a HUNK.

    GO ALEX!!!!!!!!!!

  5. I totally agree with you, Susan. I am definitely an Alex’s fan but that movie…uhmmm…what can I say, I wsih I could edit the film and cut off everything but Alex. I ‘d rather watch FEED 20 more times than BUP again.

  6. As far as I could see ~ the only good thing about TBUP, (ie: reason to watch it), is coz’ Alex is in it! And once was enough JLo for me!
Now, I’m really looking forward to H5O & enjoying the reruns of Moonlight.
If ya’ll really want to see Alex @ his best ~ try August Rush or Mary Bryant, if you haven’t already! That’s ‘classic’ Alex!
My B-Day on the 27th and for all you other B-Day Gal’s out there ~ Save your $! Or at least try a site called ‘Hot Movie Sales’…. I got my cd of Mary Bryant from there for .25 cents ~ no S&H charges.
    Well ~ Good Luck!
    And Happy Birthday!

    1. Oyster Farmer too. Very good movies. Alex was in Man-Thing. He tried so hard with that Southern accent–not a very good job. But of all things–he dies in the movie!! I also ordered BUP from Amazon–can’t wait!

  10. I was lucky enough to be in LA in April for the premiere of The Back-Up Plan and actually saw it first at Australians in Film and was able to see Alex up close and personal, well he was on stage answering questions after the movie. The next day was the premiere and I did get his autograph, but not personalized. My friend Mary/Pommienana had her scrap book personalized by Alex it was the highlight of the day. I’ve also seen TBUP several times and as soon as I returned from LA I pre-ordered it on Amazon. The shipping date is Aug. 24 but it won’t be delivered until between Sept.3-16th. Oh well.
Happy birthday Charlene for this Sunday.

  11. This will be the ultimate great present for any occasion. I’ve pre-ordered some copies of The Back-up Plan already; one for myself and one to a friend of mine, who I introduced Alex’s movies and shows and she of course is hook line and sinker with our Alex. How can you not? Look at him.

    Bad reviews about J-Lo’s performance.
Neverthless Alex is pointed out as the newest hearthrob aussie to arrive in LA and surely he will be noticed in a near future.
