Thought we would pass on a little Sunday surprise to you. Since today is Photography Day, it is a perfect day for more Alex photos relating to that very subject. The photoshoot taken back in 2017 had a whole bunch of photos with Alex with a camera, while behind the camera, and in front of it all at the same time. He has shared his interest of photography in the past and so these photos below envelop just that. Hope you enjoy the surprise.
Here is a snippet of the origin of Photography Day
History of Photography Day
The photograph originally was made by Nicéphore Niépce, using silver chloride coating a piece of paper. However, the photo would eventually turn fully dark as he knew no way to remove the silver chloride from the paper to preserve the photo. Photographs got better and better over the years, first with the ‘still camera’, and the ability to take a picture that way. Think the old west in America, and that camera’s differences to the ones of World War 2, then compare them to modern cameras. The major jumps in technology affected photography as much as any other facet of life around the world
Now here are a couple more photos to celebrate the day.
All photos taken by Nino Munoz for CBS Watch 2017
The larger formats will be in our gallery and FB page in the near future. In the meantime, it is a good day to take some of your own pictures so go out and have fun!
