I stumbled across a video tonight that has clips from the original pilot (and other episodes maybe?) from the original cast of Moonlight. I didn’t know that the cast we see now was not in fact the original cast. Apparently Alex O’Loughlin was originally cast as Mick St. John but all the characters around him were recast including his love interest Beth and his best vampire friend Josef. The original Beth was frankly kind of blah in comparison and had no chemistry with Mick/Alex. The original Josef was MUCH older.…

Episode 1.10 of Moonlight titled Sleeping Beauty aired last night. It was REALLY good. We left the show with Beth stabbing Coraline thinking she was still a vampire. Mick of course was upset because he thinks Coraline holds some sort of secret for a vampire cure. In Sleeping Beauty Mick and Beth are hovering over Morgan’s (aka Coraline’s) bed to see if she will live.
